LEGAL NOTICE
INLAND WETLANDS - ENVIRONMENT
COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD
At the September 28th, 2010 meeting of the Inland Wetlands - Environment Commission of the Town of East Hartford, the Commission voted to take the following action:
- Approved the Application of Pratt & Whitney, (File No. 2010-009). For the Demolition of site structures and the removal of piping. Located at # 1 Pent Road, East Hartford, CT
- Approved the Application of Goodwin College, (File No. 2010-010). For the excavation of 6,500 CY of contaminated soil 0-6ft below grade. Area to be backfilled with clean material. Located at # 1-5 Riverside Drive, East Hartford, CT.
- Approved the Application of United Technologies Research Center (File # 2010-011). For the replacement of a pedestrian bridge, modifications include abutment stem, backwall, new bridge deck, and approach ramps. Located at #427 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT.
- Approved the Application of United Technologies Research Center (File # 2010-012). For parking rehabilitation throughout the entire UTRC site. Activities include new pavement, striping, and minor grade changes. Located at # 411 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT
- Approved the application of the Town of East Hartford (File # 2010-013). For the installation of a water level monitoring system. Located at #143 Pitkin Street, East Hartford, CT.
- Tabled the application Goodwin College. (File # 2010-014). For the excavation 300 CY of contaminated soil. Area to be backfilled with clean material. Located at # 133 Riverside Drive, East Hartford, CT.
- Tabled the application Goodwin College. (File # 2010-015). For the excavation of 1,100 CY of contaminated soil 0-2ft below grade. Area to be backfilled with clean material. Located at # 135 Riverside Drive, East Hartford, CT.
- Tabled the application of RA East Hartford, LLC (File # 2010-016). For the construction of a new 11,800 S.F. pharmacy with drive through facilities and related infrastructure. Located at # 329 Ellington Rd, 550,552 School Street, East Hartford, CT
